CAN-AM Defender MAX 10 Subwoofer Box Enclosure Under Seat Waterproof

This subwoofer enclosure is designed to fit under the front driver or passenger front seat with little to no modification. This enclosure sits below the passenger or driver seat, with the subwoofer firing forward.

Positioning the subwoofer enclosure under the driver front seat also retains all of the portable under seat storage box locations. The front subwoofer location(s) also leave full access to the battery compartment in the rear of the machine.

Our subwoofer enclosures are hand built with 1/2 MDF wood and then sprayed with two thick coats of bedliner. This ensures full waterproofing and a heavy duty coating that will last years and withstand the elements. We chose wood construction with a bedliner coating for our subwoofer boxes due to its superior sound quality and durability. Over the years we have installed and listened to many other material types (plastic and fiberglass) for subwoofer boxes, nothing sounds better than wood construction.

Driver side box: 2022+ front driver under seat vertical partition and floor mounting points need to be removed for subwoofer box clearance, machines without vertical partition, no modification required. Passenger side box: requires a small amount of trimming of passenger seat underseat bracket for subwoofer box clearance (see pictures). Passenger seat will not fully flip up once sub box is installed...

But why would you need it to? All hardware for mounting the subwoofer box and 10 feet of quality speaker wire will be included with the subwoofer box.

This subwoofer box is specifically designed for the JL Audio 10w1, 10w3 subwoofers. The sub box specs out at. 55 cubic feet internal volume and standard subwoofer cut out of 9, this enclosure will work with other brand subwoofers that require similar air space volume.
